What…
Hanoi International Fellowship (HIF) is a Christian community for expatriates and their families living in Hanoi. We number over 300 adults and almost 100 children attending our Sunday worship services. During the week small groups meet to build relationships and seek personal growth. We have a holistic approach to outreach and participation in the larger community and there are opportunities for newcomers to be involved in these.

Who…
HIFers come from a diverse range of cultural, professional and faith backgrounds. About half our members come from Asian nations like the Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia and China. Of the non-Asians, almost one-third are North American, a second majority are European and there are also a number from down under. We are a very transient church: about one-third of our congregation is new each year! We often have visitors joining us for a few weeks as well, but there is a core, stable group of members who have been here for five, ten or more years. Our members include business people, diplomats, teachers and NGO staff.
